After the coronavirus pandemic shuttered offices and schools, and people had to find space in their home to work remotely and teach their children, more home shoppers started migrating out of cities to larger-sized properties in the suburbs, say real estate brokers Kathy Hall and Kevin Hall of Hasson Company.
The Halls, who focus on residential properties in Lake Oswego, West Linn, Tualatin and Dunthorpe, say their clients not only need more living space but they also want to garden and have a “staycation” environment where they can relax without having to travel.
As reported by the local listing service RMLS, the right Portland metro dwelling is selling fast and sometimes a bidding war breaks out, due to low inventory and pent-up demand.
In this week’s real estate gallery, we look at high-end homes for sale with a large office suitable for privacy and Zoom calls.
